I had to put a ductless mini split in my parents’ basement

I had to put a ductless mini split in my parents’ basement last month when I moved back in with them.

I have to admit that it was pretty embarrassing to me to have to move back in with my parents at this point in my life.

I mean, I am a college graduate and I have been out on my own for years now. It’s basically like admitting defeat to have to move back in with them, but I have been through a rough patch over the past two years. First I ended up getting laid off from my job, and then my company completely closed down. I have been looking for a new job in my profession, and I ended up having to go and work in retail while I was trying to make ends meet. Then I ended up having to default on my lease and I lost my apartment. My girlfriend left me, it’s just been a whole thing. Now, I am living with my parents again and I had to purchase a ductless mini split air conditioning system to even be able to stay down there. The indoor air quality in their basement was not good at all, and I figured that the last thing I needed was some kind of weird respiratory disease from bad air quality! Hopefully I will not be staying with them for very long, but at least the duct with mini split heating and cooling system is making it bearable. I just have to get back on my feet somehow or another!
