I love getting fresh honey from the farmer’s market

We truly love going to the outdoor farmers’ market every year.

  • There are numerous things I like to do plus see there, plus I enjoy talking to all of the locals that bring their products, produce, plus honey to the market.

My undoubtedly number one booth to visit is the local beekeeping farmer who always has wildflower honey for sale. Their honey is the best quality that I have ever tasted, plus I have tasted plenty of honey in my life because I adore it. There’s just nothing better than honey on soft fresh bread or on a biscuit in the morning hours. I also enjoy mixing honey up with butter plus eating it together on a sandwich. When I head over to the farmer’s market, I always make sure to stock up on both fresh honey plus handmade butter. There’s truly nothing out there that can beat that for a snack, if you ask me. It’s hilarious because my husband always teases me that I always make a beeline toward the sign that says fresh honey for sale. He always enjoys making ridiculous puns like that, but he is honestly right. One day last year when both of us made the choice to go to the farmers’ market, I waited until both of us were leaving to buy our honey just so I wouldn’t have to carry the honey around with me. By the time I made it to the beekeeping farmer’s tent, he was completely sold out of honey! I certainly learned my lesson that day. These days, I make sure to go straight there as soon as both of us arrive. I don’t want to miss out on that good honey!
