Ok interior designers on the internet (or people who just happen to be superb decorators) I totally need your help! I desperately need your help.
I am trying to create the best “look” in my beach household as well as I’m not sure what I should do.
Some background, my wife as well as I recently moved into a new beach household as well as both of us care about it. We have been decorating slowly as well as everything is absolutely starting to come together. The two of us have been decorating the living room area and, piece by piece, both of us have been getting the furniture where both of us care about it. The living room space is an entirely open space and, while our custom furniture looks superb in that room, it is truly spacious. The section in front of the couch over to the sectional is extremely empty. I thought a rug would look great however I didn’t care about it when I put down a towel for a visual. I am thinking about adding a coffee table in front of the custom couch, however I’m not entirely sure if that’s a smart move. I don’t want the coffee table to have the appearance of floating in the midst of the floor. On the other hand, I suppose the floor plan might be a little too open separate from at least a coffee table to break up the space. Then again, I sort of care about the open look as well as don’t want to ruin the flow of the beach household by adding a coffee table where it doesn’t necessarily belong. Do you see my predicament? Well, that’s why I’m here. Coffee table or no coffee table? Let me know your thoughts please!
