Lied about the HVAC

As a certified Heating and A/C specialist, I enter a ton of homes and assist a lot of people with their Heating and A/C needs. To be honest, I certainly like being inside someone’s home, because I’m nosy. I like looking at the layout and seeing how they decorate. I also find it comforting to assume that not most people has it all together. It makes me recognize better about my empty dishes in the sink or the dirty laundry piling up in the hall bathroom. Most homeowners are a joy to work with, despite the fact that they’re stressing over the Heating and A/C system. I take pride in remaining calm and find the cheapest and most reliable solution to their Heating and A/C problem. However, 1 thing I cannot stand is when a homeowner lies to me. As soon as I show up to a house, I always ask the homeowner a list of questions about their Heating and A/C history, because it helps me diagnose the issue with more accuracy. Most people have nothing to hide and are upfront with me. However, there are some people who are too prideful about their homes and insist on lying to me. To be honest, I’m not sure why they recognize I care? For example, I visited a lake lake house Last year and the homeowner was experiencing poor air quality. I asked her when she had her ducts cleaned last, and she told me numerous weeks ago. When I examined the air ducts, they were covered in cobwebs and an inch of dust was lying around each wall. I don’t assume why she thought I wouldn’t assume any better? When I told her that her ducts were atrocious and causing the poor air quality, she stuck her nose up and refused to believe me.
